WELCOME, DREAM CHASER!
I believe that being an entrepreneur can be lonely and frustrating. It's my goal with all my workshops to not only teach you actionable steps to grow your business, but also how to cultivate and build lasting relationships within the industry. I also believe that it's nearly impossible to do this alone and we need others to help us be the best we can possibly be. If you are looking for a workshop to inspire, refresh, and equip you with the tools you need to grow AND take care of yourself along the way, then you are surely in the right place! Pour yourself a cup of joe (or vino!) and make yourself at home here on the Dream Chasers Workshop Website where you will be able to access ALL the details you need to start planning your trip to DREAM BIG with me!
There's a lot of information here but that's because I want you to have all the information you need upfront to determine if this workshop is the right fit for you!
A place where photographers come together to
build lasting friendships in the community and leave feeling refreshed and inspired to grow their business.
Are you a photographer who wakes up excited about the day ahead because you finally found something that makes you want to get out of bed every day? That's awesome, you're in the right place my friend!
IT IS TIME TO PUT YOURSELF OUT THERE, TO GROW YOUR BUSINESS AND TO LEARN HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF ALONG THE WAY.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE AND I WANT TO HELP INSPIRE YOU TO DREAM BIG AND TURN YOUR DREAMS INTO REALITY.
I want to watch those ah-ha moments go off when you're with me learning; I want you to feel empowered in your photography business & gather the tools you need to MAKE YOUR DREAMS A REALITY. I want you to ask the hard questions & get REAL answers. And more than anything, I want you to feel confident as a photographer and woman! I KNOW you can do this and I'm here for you!
Hey! I'm Emma and I believe that we were meant to find each other! You clicked on this page because you want to reignite or start a business. You are either just starting out as a photographer or you're already established but looking for more inspiration and how to take things to new heights.
You're a photographer & so am I! I launched Emma Rose Company in 2015 with one zero wedding experience & no formal training. From the beginning I didn't really know what I was doing (truth), but I knew that I wanted to do SOMETHING and I had to figure it out on my own. Over the past two and a half years, I've tripled my income, added different avenues to my photography business, hosted workshops and drank too much coffee along the way! Endless hours of youtube and Googling... I somehow managed to learn what SEO was and how to attract my ideal clients...
THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR YOU, GIRL!
I don't want you to have to make any of the mistakes I did when first starting my own business. Some of these mistakes cost me a lot of money that I'll never get back.
THIS IS FOR YOU IF YOU WANT TO DIG DEEP & GET REAL ABOUT RUNNING A BUSINESS AND WHAT THE REALITY IS REALLY LIKE WEARING ALL THE HATS. WHETHER YOU ARE JUST STARTING OUT OR ALREADY ESTABLISHED, THERE IS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE AT THIS WORKSHOP.
We're going to focus on the hard stuff... you know... the stuff that makes us uncomfortable and frustrated as creatives. We're going to get real about the struggles that go along with being in this industry and how to deal with those struggles to fuel us as women to grow our business.
ARE YOU WITH ME?
THE DREAM TEAM LINE UP!

Mama 0f 3 boys/Lover of Film
Nicole Conner is a compelling photographer creating delightful imagery for her clients. Always elegant and a little wild, Nicole’s work reflects her desire to celebrate the details of beauty and love. Nicole will be teaching all about her journey with film and answering all your questions!
Nancy grew up in South Bend, Washington. She owns a coffee shop called Elixir and a floral business called Rhodesia Flower. Nancy is an incredible talent and will not only be providing all our flowers for the workshop, but teaching us all how to make a beautiful arrangement ourselves!
THAT YOUR FUTURE SELF
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN
FINDING YOUR IDEAL CLIENT
Are you tired of working with people who don't value you or your talent? Are you hoping to work SMARTER, not harder? I want you to feel empowered to say no to the things that aren't bringing you closer to working with the right clients. We will cover branding (my passion!), marketing through social media, and how I use each platform differently to book my clients.
Marketing is my passion as a small creative business owner. We are going to cover everything from emails to how you are showcasing yourself online. If you don't already know this - I'm a website designer so I'd like to do a few website critiques for up to 3 volunteers during the workshop!
HOW TO TAKE PRETTY PICTURES
I want to cover everything that goes into how I capture beautiful photographs. I want to cover all the little quirks I have when it comes to shooting, but how those quirks help me achieve consistent and beautiful work with every wedding I shoot. We will talk workflow, editing, and much more!
My dear friend Nicole Conner will be talking all about film and how she got started and what she's learned since becoming a hybrid photographer! She's been in the business for nearly 10 years and is a wealth of knowledge!
You hear it all throughout the photography community... storytelling, yes. I'm going to teach you how I approach every wedding to tell a meaningful story and narrative. This goes into how I approach every wedding, how I structure blog posts, slideshows and albums for my clients. This is one of my favorite topics because once I started looking at a wedding day differently, I became a much better storyteller.
What do you want your life to stand for? How do you want to be remembered by your family and friends? What will those beyond your circle of family and friends remember you for? What kind of an impact do you want to have on your community? How will the world be a better place because you were in it? What contributions do you want to make to our field? Whose lives will you have touched? What lessons would you like to pass on to future generations? What do you want to leave behind? How can you serve? Here's an idea of what to expect from this section. These are questions I ask myself regularly as a human being and business owner. Legacy is something I give serious thought in all that I do, way beyond how I run my business. This goes to my core, who I am, and what kind of imprint I want to leave in this life. I can't wait to dive in deep here with you at this workshop!
Introduction to film, continuous styling bar in studio with fresh flowers and props, calligraphy class, styled shoots (on the ranch and in studio boudoir), and finally wrapping up the workshop with late night pizza and editing!
Anyone who signs up will receive a welcome PDF packet with everything they need to know to prepare for the workshop!
What past attendees are saying about the ROSE RANCH Workshop.
Accommodations for your stay at the ROSE RANCH workshop
You are about to embark on a journey to the Southwestern most tip of Washington State! South Bend is known as The Oyster Capitol of the World. Our town is small, quaint, and home to myself and my husband's family for many generations. Our time together will begin at my downtown studio and then take us out to Rose Ranch for an epic styled shoot. Due to our small town living (aka no stoplight!) accommodations aren't what you will find in a big city. There are a few different options for booking your stay:
1. The Seaquest Motel in South Bend. This motel is fantastic! Feedback from last years attendees said it was clean, comfortable, and very spacious! The owners are wonderful and here to make your visit nothing short of wonderful. I will have 10 rooms blocked off until early July so it is up to you to officially reserve your own room.
2. The Pitchwood Inn. The Pitchwood is located in Raymond, Washington (about six miles from South Bend). It is adorable and has several different cabins to choose from!
3. There are several airbnb options around our area! Some are close and some are up to 30 minutes away but everything I've checked out online looks great! If you're traveling with a group of friends, this would probably be your best option for the workshop!
4. Other options include staying in Long Beach, Washington or any other neighboring towns. Make sure you check travel times to plan accordingly!**Please keep in mind that we are a very small town. You will not find 24 hour services in our area. If your travels bring you in late at night, you need to make prior arrangements with the motel/inn. It is your responsibility to be in contact with the owners to ensure you can get into your room late at night. Please factor in travel time from airport.**
JULY 31-AUGUST 2
The price of the workshop is $1500 for three FULL days. Monday meet and greet, Tuesday full, Wednesday full, Thursday full, travel home Friday.

Please contact me directly at email@example.com with any questions you have about this workshop!
